Through Standardized drivers' education courses, both online and onsite, and the adoption of best safety practices, we hope that Oklahoma Transportation Providers gain the desired confidence, recognition, and respect from their students, school administrators, and communities.
Our Stance
We have taken a firm stance on the education of and prevention of accidents and injuries that can occur to our children through negligence and irresponsibility.
Safety
We play an active role in the safety process for the pupil transportation of the State of Oklahoma.

Welcome to the official website of the Oklahoma Association for Pupil Transportation (OKAPT). As President of this incredible organization, I am honored to serve alongside so many dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of Oklahoma’s students each and every day.
Our mission at OKAPT is to provide leadership, education, advocacy and support to pupil transportation professionals across the state. Whether you are a driver, mechanic, monitor/aide, supervisor, trainer or industry partner, you play a vital role in the success of our shared mission. This site is designed to be a hub of information, connection and inspiration for all who are part of the school transportation community.
Throughout the year, OKAPT offers opportunities for professional development, statewide collaboration and recognition of excellence within our field.
