
Meet the President of OKAPT!
The President of OKAPT serves as the presiding officer over all meetings and assemblies and ensures that the Board of Directors is abiding by all laws, regulations, and bylaws agreed upon by the body of OKAPT. The President also ensures that all Board Members are performing their duties as assigned and is responsible for planning and organization are properly conducted for annual meetings.

Robert began his career in the United States Navy in 1989, serving as a Mass Communications Specialist and Senior Enlisted Advisor for more than 24 years. Following his retirement in 2013, he began working with Edmond Public Schools as a bus driver. Robert served many roles at Edmond Public Schools over the next eight years serving as the Field Trip Coordinator, Dispatcher, Safety/Training Supervisor, and Human Resources/Financial Clerk. He became the Director of Transportation for Deer Creek School District in 2021.
Mr. Feinberg became an Oklahoma Association for Pupil Transportation (OAPT) member in 2014. He joined the OAPT Leadership Team in 2017, served as OKC Metro Director for several years, and is currently serving as the President-Elect.
Robert is a Certified School Bus Inspector, a Certified School Bus Driver Instructor, a Certified School Bus Inspector Instructor and a Third-Party CDL Examiner for the state of Oklahoma. He is a current National Association for Pupil Transportation member, a PDS Instructor and is Nationally Certified as a Pupil Transportation Specialist.
