OKAPT’s 2025-2026 Support Employee of the Year Award
The OKAPT 2025–2026 Support Employee of the Year Award recognizes the hard work, commitment, and dedication of the individuals who play an integral role in safely transporting students across Oklahoma.
While they may not always be seen behind the wheel or under the hood, support employees provide critical assistance to bus drivers, monitors, mechanics, supervisors, and districts every day. From dispatch and routing to administrative coordination and operational support, these professionals help ensure that transportation departments run efficiently and safely.
OKAPT values their service and is proud to recognize and honor one outstanding support employee during the 2026 OKAPT Annual Conference & Trade Show (ACTS).
Eligibility:

Nominee must be currently employed in a school transportation support role in Oklahoma.

Eligible positions include (but are not limited to): dispatchers, routing specialists, administrative assistants, office staff, trainers, or other transportation support personnel.

Nominee may not be a Transportation Director, Driver, Monitor, or Mechanic.

Both the general public and transportation professionals may submit nominations.
